Her artistic themes include racial identity, the black female experience, and self-acceptance in a world under the technological microscope.
A word from our host:
“Since we are approaching the lovely day of Halloween, I thought it would be fun to explore the ways in which we play with our identities and how those internal explorations create the person that people see on the outside. We will complete some short timed writing prompts and group activities to dig deeper into how we define the word IDENTITY and hopefully get some creative juices flowing for the upcoming holiday!”
